Manifesto for Hope Events in 2026
A number of events have taken place or are scheduled in 2026 following the Faith in the City 2025 Celebrations:
- Two online public readings of the 'Manifesto For Hope'
- Community Conversations
- Showcasing the 9 points of the Manifesto For Hope at the
Pentecost Event in Liverpool with banners and stalls hosted by organisations whose work reflects the manifesto’s nine themes
- Liverpool City Council cross party motion in July 2026 on the 40th Anniversary of the ‘Faith in the City’ Report by Councillor Liam Robinson, seconded by Councillor Jane Corbett.

Launch of the Manifesto for Hope in November 2025
Remarkable events took place during 2025 and the highlight of the year was the launch of the Manifesto for Hope in November 2025: Church Leaders, Civic Leaders, NHS representatives, etc gathered for a launch event and this is being followed up at present. This event took place 40-years on from the landmark 'Faith in the City: A Call for Action by Church and Nation.'
